Helping Create More Opportunities for Local Families

One of the things I've heard throughout this campaign is that residents want practical leadership — not just identifying problems, but helping move solutions forward.

Earlier this year, I learned that Springwater United Soccer Academy was looking for additional field space in Midhurst. After learning the Township couldn't accommodate the request, I reached out to the Midhurst Landowners Group to explore whether another option existed.

That conversation helped start discussions which ultimately led to an agreement for Springwater United Soccer Academy to use the soccer field at Adam Elliott Memorial Park beginning in 2027 until the Township assumes the park.

Good community leadership is about helping things happen. Sometimes that means connecting the right people and helping move a good idea forward.

I'm grateful to the Midhurst Landowners Group and Springwater United Soccer Academy for working together to create more opportunities for local children and families. I'd also like to thank some current members of Council who supported this idea during those discussions. Community progress is always strongest when people work together toward a shared goal.

Practical Leadership. Accountable Decisions.
